Illustration Project: Raccoons in Fashion
For this freelance illustration project, I worked with a client to create a custom group of raccoons dressed in various outfits, designed to be printed on clothing.
Project Scope & Workflow:
The client provided base illustrations which I recreated from scratch in Adobe Illustrator for clarity, consistency, and originality.
I designed different clothing styles for each raccoon, based on the client’s style direction and vision.
The artwork was prepared with print-ready specifications, as it was intended for use on apparel.
Challenges & Process:
Throughout the project, we navigated multiple changes — especially in illustration style and outfit design, which helped me build flexibility and client communication skills.
Each raccoon had to reflect a unique personality while staying cohesive as a group.
Reflection:
This was one of the projects that sparked my passion for freelance work. It combined creativity, character design, and problem-solving in a way that felt fulfilling and fun.
