Straw Factory — Sustainable Luxury Brand Concept

Straw Factory is a luxury lifestyle brand concept I developed during my university studies, designed around the idea of elevating everyday sustainability. The brand centers on high-quality, reusable stainless steel straws and matching cups, with a focus on premium aesthetics, refined branding, and eco-conscious living.

✦ Brand Strategy & Concept

Through market research, I identified a gap: most reusable straws on the market lack alignment with luxury aesthetics. Inspired by the “old money” lifestyle and timeless visual codes of wealth and minimalism, I created a brand tailored for consumers who care about both style and sustainability.

Straw Factory aims to offer an alternative that not only supports eco-conscious habits but also complements high-end tastes — through matte stainless steel straws, matching cups, and refined packaging.

✦ Visual Identity & Logo Design

The logo draws inspiration from the iconic Adidas three-stripe mark, but reimagined with a custom geometric twist: three angled lines reflecting the exact tilt and proportions of drinking straws, creating a sleek and subtle identity. The branding is minimal and premium, communicating simplicity, innovation, and class.

✦ Packaging Design & Color Palette

I designed product packaging with a balance of clean geometry and texture, exploring elegant matte tones for the first edition. The packaging is structured to reflect the product’s quality and purpose, with plans for an expanded color line in future editions to give the brand seasonal flexibility and personalization potential.

✦ Supporting Collateral & Materials

In addition to packaging, I designed business cards and branded marketing materials to accompany the product and reinforce the premium look and feel. The cards follow the same material and tone principles, using neutral hues, minimal layout, and tactile finishes.
