The Circle is a new luxury shisha concept blending modern Middle Eastern culture with refined European elegance. The Satary Studio was invited to develop a logo and color palette direction during the early branding phase of the project.
Over the course of one week, the studio explored several compositions to unite three key visual elements requested by the client — a flame, a circle, and elegant typography — while capturing a luxurious, Harrods-inspired aesthetic.
Although the final direction was not selected by the other owners, the concept was well-received by the initial client and remains a strong alternative identity direction that reflects the brand’s potential.
The concept was inspired by Harrods’ timeless luxury, adapted to a modern lounge environment. The design process focused on harmonizing the three core visual motifs — flame, circle, and typography — into a balanced, elegant logo mark.
The color palette draws from deep emerald greens and warm golds, evoking a sense of exclusivity and sophisticated ambiance that aligns with the brand’s positioning.
The final presentation included several logo lockups and color applications to showcase flexibility and scalability across digital and print touchpoints. A moodboard complemented the design direction, anchoring the concept visually.
This project offered a valuable opportunity to explore luxury branding within a Middle Eastern context and to experiment with combining symbolic elements into a cohesive identity. While this direction was ultimately not chosen by the collective ownership, the process itself was creatively enriching and demonstrates The Satary Studio’s ability to craft sophisticated, versatile brand aesthetics under tight timelines.
