Watermans is a new restaurant concept celebrating a lively, summery, and “fresh & juicy” dining experience. In the lead-up to their grand opening, The Satary Studio joined forces with the owners to craft key visual elements and communication pieces from the ground up — all within a highly condensed timeline.

With no marketing team in place, the collaboration required agility, creative direction, and hands-on support to bring the vision to life quickly and cohesively.

The visual identity process began with exploring and refining the brand’s color palette, ensuring it reflected the restaurant’s vibrant and refreshing atmosphere. Working with the existing logo, a cohesive visual language was developed to be applied across all digital and printed materials.

This direction set the foundation for a digital invitation card, used to personally invite guests to the opening, along with a poster that announced the event to the wider community. A temporary menu was also designed to complement the overall look and support the restaurant during its initial opening days.

All assets were created rapidly to meet the tight timeline, ensuring consistency across touchpoints while maintaining a polished, professional finish.

Beyond design, The Satary Studio took on a broader creative role during the pre-launch period. Working directly with the owners, we contributed to interior styling decisions, such as curating and positioning artworks inside the restaurant, and continuously adapting to evolving creative directions.

This phase required flexibility, strategic input, and real-time problem solving — ensuring that every visual detail supported the restaurant’s fresh concept despite frequent last-minute changes.

The Satary Studio was actively involved on the day of the opening, capturing photo and video content to support WaterMans’ early marketing efforts. These launch visuals documented the vibrant atmosphere of the event and became a foundation for the restaurant’s future social media storytelling.

Through agile design execution and hands-on collaboration, The Satary Studio helped WaterMans translate their fresh vision into a cohesive visual identity for their opening. This project reflects the studio’s ability to step into fast-moving environments, shape brands from the ground up, and deliver impactful creative under tight deadlines.
