GOOD ADVICE UK — Visual Identity Exploration

Project Type: Branding & Logo Design
Role: Graphic Designer
Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop

I took on a creative initiative to explore new logo concepts for GOOD ADVICE UK (GAUK). This project aimed to refresh and modernize the brand's image while experimenting with multiple graphic forms and typographic structures.

The design variations explored:

  • Stylized serif typefaces for a professional yet approachable tone

  • Unique “J”-shaped legal motif to represent direction, clarity, and support

  • Multiple badge-style layouts for icons and circular formats

  • Clean business card mockups to reflect real-world usage

After reviewing the concepts with the team, the feedback was encouraging and confirmed that the direction aligned well with the brand's advisory nature. While this was a speculative exercise rather than an officially commissioned redesign, the project sparked discussions around future brand positioning and style cohesion.

Outcome:

The visuals were added to my internal portfolio to demonstrate branding versatility and creative range. The use of earth tones, clean typography, and minimalistic line design reflect trust, professionalism, and subtle sophistication—core values of GOOD ADVICE UK.
